John Love lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the traditional and unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. He works with both digital and traditional media.

John is inspired by the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest and Canadian Rockies. His work ranges from dark and unsettling fantasy to vivid and playful realism. He's deeply influenced by artists such as Kazua Oga, Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky, Zdzisław Beksiński and Gustave Doré.

John loves cats, tabletop role-playing games, fantasy and science fiction, and birds of all kinds, especially corvids.
